Moved to France in 2006 after working in Mikuni Marunouchi and Hayama hotel Otowanomori.
Learned Provence regional cuisine from chef Reine Sammut at "Auberge La Feniere (Michelin 1 star)" in Lourmarin in Southern France.
Served as a chef at the bistro "Coeur de Ferme" annexed to it.
Became a head chef at Hayama hotel Otowanomori in January 2008 after returning to Japan.
Opened a French restaurant "Chez Kentaro " in August 2009 at Ofuna, Kamakura city.
Relocated to Kitakamakura in December 2017.
Has been working since then.
